These are a few of my favorite things.

Currently Reading:

“The Price of Illusion” is about the life of a fantastic woman who, besides a fascinating, international life, was editor of French Vogue.  The book really scratches my itch for French, high fashion, and a truly international, star-studded lifestyle. I first heard of it on the podcast of the effervescent Garance Dore.
Books:

This was my bible when we backpacked Europe for 10 weeks. Save yourself some pain and read up.

This is my go-to guide for how to be a better human. A more accurate title would be “How to Succeed By Not Being an Asshole”

This gem informed me early about the new world of work. Don’t look to this as a “cheats to success”, look at it as a study about the meaning and nature of success (a bit more helpful than De Botton if you ask me!) Don’t work without being clear to yourself exactly what you are working for.

This one asks you to decide what really matters because “priorities” isn’t a real word.

Gear:

This is the camera I do most of my work from (when not taking snapshots on my iphone 5s). It’s a good workhorse DSLR I don’t have to worry too much about getting stolen or damaged when having adventures. Click for link.

Podcasts:

This is my favorite podcast. Smart questions about success that allow access and inspiration from people a million miles above your friend circle
